Brainstorming.
So the hubby has an airbrush, right? And they sell these cheap muslin (aka calico for the Aussies) bags at Lincrap, I mean Lincraft (I always get that wrong...). So I'm thinkin' about making some fun bags with the airbrush and some fabric paint an selling them at the markets (see Kris, I haven't forgotten that conversation!)
They are a good size for knitting or for carrying library books. I don't know if this should be a free-hand sort of fancy writing affair or if I should get some stencils. I can play with it.
Here are a few thoughts for slogans:
Knitting
-The one who dies with the most yarn wins
-Will knit for beer
-Drop stitches not bombs (I like that one!)
Reading/Libraries
-There's more to life than books you know, but not much more. (I know, that one is way too long, but I love The Smiths)
-I read and I vote (many local libraries are losing their funding at the moment)
-I got the book at the library (a spoof on a local bookstore that has the slogan 'I got the book at _____' on their carry bags)
