I just got a video
I just got a video of Iron Chef America from my Mom, I don't know if I like it as much as the original, but it's still very cool.
oh, and ONE MORE DAY! tomorrow is my last day at Polo (I think I can name them now). SO look for lots of eBay items from me soon. whoo-hoo!

'bung on a sickie'
For the non-Aussies: A 'sickie' is when you call in sick to work when you really aren't sick. It is a pretty acceptable practice here, as long as you don't abuse it. And to 'bung' or bung on' kinda means 'bang on' or ' throw on'. So to 'bung on a sickie' is to call in sick to work when you are really OK. Probably because its a nice day and you want to go to the beach.
and now for something completely different....

I think a trip to the grocery store is in order.

I GOT THE JOB I
About a month or so ago I applied for a position with Mosman Community Library and I got the call today...I got the job!
wow. I'm getting out of retail and into library services. I'm go excited! And the postion is in children and youth servies and get this, they (or should I say WE) do story times at friggin' Taronga Zoo! How cool is that?!?!
So at the end of the month I will end my 10+ years in Visual Merchandising. wow, end of an era. But also the beginning of something big. Huge really.
So what am I doing to celebrate tonight? I'm home with the cat (Rob is playing trains) drinkin' a beer, giving myself a manicure wathcing Eurovision. (ok, I'd rather be hangin' with my hubby, but he would never watch this much Europop)
