Milestone
Eight years ago today, I and my Loving Husband stepped off of a plane and into the country that would become our home. We didn't know it at the time, but we were beginning a love affair with this beautiful nation. This crazy, silly, humble, loving, giving amazing nation.
So anyway, if you have ever flown across the International Date Line you'll know it can throw your whole week off, days just come and go. Like when you fly here from the US you loose an entire day. So eight years ago when we flew out of LAX it was July the 3rd and when we arrived it was July the 5th. Slightly appropiate don't you think?
But here's to Australia, and I think I'll go have a Tooheys New now...cheers.
