more knit-in stuff
So I took a whole bunch of photos at the Knit In on friday morning. It was a big knitting event to benefit Wrap With Love. Most of the knitting was taking place at Studio 1 at the ABC (where they film The Glass House and Enough Rope) and you would think that a big studio with lots of lights would be a great place to take photos. Well, you'd be wrong! And so was I. These are about the only two that came out OK.
The one left is Kris and Fiona knitting away and the one on the right is Kris with B1.

But there are some amazing photos out there that did turn out OK. This one shows how many bales of blankets were donated this year. According to the ABC site,
The final tally was over 42,000 squares completed by our listeners, totalling over 1,500 completed wraps.
Anyway, it was fun to take part and I got a chance to meet Sonia Gidley King, the founder of Wrap With Love. She seems like a really nice lady. We are thinking next year we might have a satelite knit in at the library. We know that there are quite a few local ladies who could not make it all the way down to the city to join in.
But that's a whole year away.
