Citius, Alitius Fortius
ok, I'm joining Team Australia (aka Kris and Crumpet) in the Knitting Olympics. (conceived by the ever popular and slightly insane Yarn Harlot)
I'll have to decide on a project that is a challenge but one that I can complete in the 16 days that the winter Olympics are going on.
hmmmm....I think I'll have to have a good look through my knitting books. I have 19 days to get my head around this.

Hi!! I've signed up for the Knitter's Olympics, can I join Team Australia too, lol?? Perhaps we nee dout own button, surely there's an anthem to be composed..... I'm knitting a second sock, the challenge for me is to get it done in the 16 days!!

Whoo-hoo, team australia is off and running! I definately think buttons are in order. (at least a groovie button for our blogs...)

Can I be on Team Australia too? I was going to attempt my first pair of socks. Well, I have tried socks before, but gave up after the first half-inch of cuff :) But I'm going to give it another shot.

May I join too? I have a funky button for team Aus from a fellow LJ user - http://knitter-knatter.livejournal.com/ - but there are more icons being made as well :-)
I'm making socks too, btw. First ever time, first ever time with dpns for that matter. I haven't knitted in months, so I'm trying to get some practise in now...
