Sydney Writer's Festival

I was just looking at the Sydney Writer's Festival web site (I'm kinda interested in seeing Alain de Botton's talk on philosophy and architecture)
Then I noticed that Karen Finley is coming.

Finley is a feminist/performance artist/writer/black sheep who's art was famously deemed 'incident' by Senator Jesse Helms in the 90's. Basically, she is one very cool woman.

Anyone feel like getting all arty farty with me? (Kris, I already know how you feel about performance art) But I'm going either way.

Me! I would like to go! I'm also going to the launch of "going down swinging" because my friend Alison has a poem in it, and she is going to be doing a reading. You should come!
