It must be spring
I was SWOOPED today.
He actually chased me when I was walking from my car to work. He came after me like 3 or 4 times. I started to run back to my car and this woman came to my rescue. She had a large towel and we ended up draping it over our heads and running for our lives (ok, I exaggerate a little bit). But it was really scary.
I'm ok, no marks or scrapes. Good thing my hair was kinda fluffy today, I think the bird aimed too high.
From now on I'm going to carry an umbrella.
Or a BB gun....no, I'm kidding.

Heh. I've never been swooped. You didn't see a crazy old hobo getting swooped too, did you? Maybe you're the last of the Old Ones! (From one of my favorite books.)

apparently, they won't swoop on you if they think you're looking - people draw on eyes on their hats if they're walking in a known-magpie area - you could have a cool umbrella with giant eyes!

its horrible isn't it, I got pecked last year and it drew blood so yes run for your life. :)
