Our little fur boy is in the kitty hospital tonight.
He has a blocked urethra. Not totally uncommon for boy cats, but still very serious. We caught it early so he should be fine in a couple of days.
But I miss him.
Probably a bit more than I should.
I'm a sook.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the support.
I spoke to the vet today. He still has a catheter in, but they should be taking it out tonight. Then they just have to keep an eye on him to make sure he is peeing properly before we can take him home.
Hopefully he'll be back home tomorrow after work.

Oh, my cat had this a few months ago and is on the special S/D cat food to stop sodium build up.
