Crack House(warming)
So, my wonderful brother and SIL recently bought an awesome place in Chicago. When they were doing the inspections of their now home they found out that the front door had been bashed in by, well, by a police battering ram.
During a drug raid.
Not to worry, the drug lords had moved out and the place was now up for sale.
Jim and Amy thought it was a cool pad, it was in their price range, their people talked to the owner's people and the deal was made (on the house, not on the drugs).
But because of the history, the place was christened 'The Crack House' and well, me being me though this name was perfect for a cross stitch sampler. So I charted the above cross stitch and put it together.
Came up ok, no? They seem to like it, and it has pride of place on the mantel. I've been meaning to blog this for a while, but I finally got off of my arse
