sock
I'm rockin' through my first sock. This one is knitted using the traditional top down 4 DPN method with self pattering wool.
Sweet!

Just where exactly are you planning on wearing your new socks? They look pretty warm, but I don't thing it gets that cold in winter for you...unless you are planning in visiting us back home this winter!

Sweet! I'm about to start my first pair of socks.
Dude, you need to come along to the pub knitting group that meets at The Courthouse Hotel in Newtown on a Sunday afternoon from 2. It'll rock your socks. (sorry, couldn't help myself)

Sweet! What yarn?
I've not been fond of knitting socks. That probably has to do with not needing anything too warm here. When I do knit them I am more of a toe up kind of girl. That probably has something to do with me not being on friendly terms with dpns when we first start out.

I picked it up at Rubi + Lana in Gordon. It's by Online and it's called 'Supersocke'. Here's a pic:

Oooh, I like the blue. I need to make my own self patterning yarn for big things.
