Spring is coming to casa del Barker and things are starting to bloom. Aren't these amazing? There are probably a dozen of these by my front door.
The jasmine near the back door is just starting to bud too. That should flower soon and smell beautiful.
We've had unusually heavy rains lately. We had a month's worth of rain in one day yesterday. Crazy. And we found a few small leaks in our roof. One we knew about but one that came as a bit of a surprise. Rob got up on the roof today and replaced/sealed a few tiles. Hopefully that will stop it.
At least with all this rain everything is becoming so green and lush. If it ever warms up we should start to see more critters in the yard too. Bring on summer!
