Comfy-bumfy
The Mixing Bowl is running a comfort food recipe contest. There's lots of interesting stuff there. Mac N cheese, chicken soup, lasagna.
But it got me thinking about comfort food.
My comfort food isn't necessarily yours.
Like I don't eat red meat so the thought of pork chops actually make me feel ill, while mashed potatoes or baked mac N cheese get me all warm and squishy inside. And I love chicken and dumplings. mmmm. Oh, Oh, and then there's the sweet stuff. Chocolate chip cookies or hot apple pie ala mode. drool....
But all I know for sure is that after looking through those recipes, people really find cheese comforting. That and bacon grease (Yes, I'm talking to YOU TIM!)
Yeah, this could get messy
