Gettin' my mojo back
So today I've done something I haven't done in ages.
I started a new knitting project.
Since last year I just haven't felt like knitting anything. Nothing. Zip. Zero.
But recently two things happened. I found out that I'm going to be an aunt (Rob's sister is expecting, yay!) and a good friend gave me some lovely sock wool for my birthday. So I thought to myself, 'self, it's time to pick up those sticks!'
I found a cute (and easy) pattern and cast on.
I'm about half way through the first bootie.
But they will have to wait because tonight we're off to see Reggie Watts as part of Luminous.
And since it look like we are going to have a dry night we might actually get a chance to see some of this Smart Light thing I've been reading about.
